A Nice Escape
helpful staff delicious cuisine convenient facility
I found the staff helpful , especially the bell boy whose English was very good. The cuisine was really nice , with options to select our individual dinner menu each day. The breakfast was rich , and the ski rental facility being downstairs added great convenience.

The location was perfect , close to the gondola , ski hire shop , and the main strip. I could walk to the Gondola in just one minute from the hotel. The hotel offers lovely views of the mountains.

adequate stay, but some issues noted
long wait times uncomfortable pillows
the location was perfect for skiing. everything was just steps away from the lifts.
The breakfast area was somewhat chaotic. i had to constantly ask staff for drinks, even water, and the wait times were long. the room had other issues. The pillows were uncomfortable, and the balcony door didn't close tightly, leaving the room cold.

outdated bathroom long waiting time
The breakfast was tasty and well prepared, so I guess they got something right.
finding a self-service drink was impossible. I had to flag down a staff member each time, waiting an eternity for water. The bathroom looked like a relic from the 90s. It featured a bathtub suitable only for a small child. the absence of a shower door caused water to splash everywhere. Finding a cockroach on the wall was not the highlight of my stay.

wonderful stay with excellent amenities
ski location wide choice supportive staff
i found the location convenient, especially since it's ski-in and ski-out. the breakfast offered a wide choice of cheese, vegetables and fruit. i also appreciated the a la carte dinner option that included salads, soups, a main course and dessert each day. the reception staff was cute and very supportive, they assisted me with all my requests.

the vip apartment was large and clean. a separate coat and shoe rack proved useful for storing ski jackets, pants, and shoes. the bathroom featured a tub and shower and a heated rack, perfect for drying items after skiing.

the staff demonstrated a 'can do' attitude when addressing minor issues. the hotel opened the buffet early for my departure at 6:30 am so i could eat before catching an early flight to sofia. servers brought coffee and juice, a very nice touch.

The location is convenient. Practically ski in, ski out is possible. new bed mattresses are available which allowed better sleep.
The breakfast area had no drinks available for self service. I had to ask the staff each time. i also found the pillows very big and uncomfortable.

i found breakfast very nice and the staff very thoughtful. boran, the kitchen head, was kind and prepared good food each morning for us.
i noticed the outside jacuzzi lacked hot water.
